kapari

We chose the name for its close connection to Greek food and the flavours of the Mediterranean. Simple yet full of character, kapari reflects the way we think about good cooking: rooted in local tradition, made with care and best enjoyed around the table.

  • The caper plant grows among Santorini’s rocks and stone walls. Its best-known edible part is the unopened flower bud, preserved in salt or brine. Its tender leaves and fruit, known as caper berries, are enjoyed too.
